Granular Energy partners with Catalyst Power in the U.S.
We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Catalyst Power, marking an important milestone as Granular Energy deepens its presence in the United States. This collaboration will deliver one of the first U.S. retail energy solutions aligned with emerging hourly carbon-accounting guidance, enabling businesses to take decarbonisation action through precise, transparent energy procurement.
Voluntary emissions tracking efforts, such as reporting on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHGP) Scope 2 requirements, are becoming ever more critical for organisations aiming to measure, manage, and reduce their carbon footprint. Currently under review, the GHGP Scope 2 methodology is going towards more transparent and traceable claims: in the next version, we expect see hourly and regional transparency and reporting requirements. Our partnership with Catalyst Power addresses this growing need by ensuring that U.S. commercial and industrial customers can confidently report on their Scope 2 emissions with verified, hourly-matched clean power data.
