Granular Energy selected for Dominion Energy Innovation Center accelerator program
Granular Energy is one of 15 startups participating in the 2024 cohort as part of the new Dominion Energy Innovation Center (DEIC) Hyperscaled track, which is focused on solutions for both utilities and data centers.
DEIC Hyperscaled is Dominion Energy Innovation Center (DEIC)’s new accelerator program. The goal of DEIC Hyperscaled is to decouple carbon emissions from data center growth by improving the technology and efficiency of both data centers and the energy infrastructure serving them. The program dovetails with the signature DEIC Accelerate program and offers additional industry-specific support to companies looking to create energy solutions for data centers.
Over 11 weeks, from early September through November 2024, Granular Energy will work with Dominion Energy and QTS Data Centers to develop pilot projects and receive supplementary education and mentorship.
We believe that improving access to granular energy data is essential to data center decarbonization. Our platform allows utilities to provide unprecedented transparency to their customers about where and when their energy is sourced, as well as launch next-generation green power programs that accelerate the transition to a carbon-free grid.
We are grateful to Dominion Energy and QTS Data Centers for their leadership and the opportunity to showcase our value in the Commonwealth.
